Telfree on Nokia - Making & Receiving Calls

Dialer view and connection quality indicator

• Telfree Mobile opens at the Dialer screen. This page pulls up your call register to see latest dialled, received and missed calls.
• Calls dialled or received via Telfree display the Telfree icon next to them.
• The connection quality indicator shows the strength of your Internet connection to Telfree’s systems. This indicates the call quality you can expect: Green – very good; yellow – good; orange – weak; red – poor; grey – very poor or unavailable.

Making a free call

• To make a free call to another Telfree user: Enter the phone number of the person you want to call, and press the green button. This number must be the number they used to register at Telfree. 
• As long as you entered the number they registered with, the call will automatically go to your contact’s Telfree number, and the call will be free.

Using contacts and making a call to other networks

• The tabs along the top right-hand side of the screen allow you to navigate to other pages of the application.
• Scroll to the right to get to your Contacts book. To search contacts, enter the first letter of your desired contact’s name. To call someone on the list, scroll up or down until their name is highlighted, and then press call/dial.
• When you make a call to someone who is not in the Telfree network, it is an external network call, you will be paying for the call at the rates for your package.

Receiving a call from Telfree users

• Whether or not you are logged into Telfree mobile, you will be able to receive calls from other Telfree users.
• The incoming call screen looks like this.
• Simply press “answer” to accept the call.

Receiving a call from anyone

• If you have a Telfree Inbound Number, you can be contact by people who are not even on Telfree.
• This applies whether or not you were logged into the Telfree application on your Inbound Number.
• Simply press “Answer” to accept the call.
