View friends: Seeing who is online or offline

• Scroll to the Friends tab on the top right-hand side of the screen. This takes you to your Friends page, where all your IM networks are listed.
• All friends on your selected IM networks are displayed.
• You will be able to see who is online and offline, and what their status messages are, as well as their avatars.

Adding your IM account

• To add a new IM account or network, select Options and Manage IM Networks.
• Select the network/account you wish to add.

Enter your account details

• Complete the action by entering your username and password for that network and pressing OK. Some networks will require an email address (which acts as your username) or just a username. Facebook requires you to have a username, not an email address.
• Your account may take a few minutes to load.

Chatting

• Select the contact you wish to chat with and start typing. Press the middle button to send, or select Options and Send.
• Your contact’s response will be visible as soon as it is entered on their mobile phone.
• You can scroll left and right between multiple chat conversations.
